When you think of your perfect date, does it include a date with a book? A blind date with a book is back at the book fair in support of HospiceWits!
The ever-popular book fair opens on 24 May and runs until Sunday 26 May at Polofields Crossing, Waterfall City. Proceeds go to HospiceWits to assist them in providing quality care to the communities in and around Johannesburg and Soweto.
There will be hundreds of pre-loved books to choose from to add to your collection. It’s an event that is a must for a bibliophile.
And if you need more space on your bookshelf for these pre-loved books? Easy. Simply donate your own pre-loved books to the HospiceWits book fair so that they can go to new homes where they will be appreciated! Not only will you be clearing out space and finding your pre-loved books a new home, you will be making sure that HospiceWits continues to provide their services to those in need in and around Johannesburg and Soweto.
You can make your pre-loved book donations at the HospiceWits shops located in Orange Grove, Kensington, Parkview and Norwood. You can also donate books at Kuman Randpark Ridge as well as Polofields Crossing Spar. Or, you can make your way to the HospiceWits book fair tent on the day and donate your pre-loved books there. And if you can’t make it to any of these venues? Contact HospiceWits directly to arrange for them to collect your donation. They can be reached on 011 483 9100.
Choose from non-fiction and fiction, from gardening to biographies. The variety is endless. Of course, the kiddies’ corner is back for your little ones to explore their love of reading. There will also be a number of exciting activities for kids to enjoy throughout the three-day event.
The fair is on from 9am to 6pm on Friday 24 May, 9am to 5pm on Saturday 25 May and from 9am to 3pm on Sunday 26 May.
